After a teaser on July’s issue of Hobby Japan Magazine, here’s some information on the new character for Queen’s Blade Rebellion! Guess on whose side she is.

A sweet and polite person, but also a pirate!
A legendary beautiful pirate girl resurrected by none other than the Marshland Witch. However, like Menace, she doesn’t care too much about being loyal to the witch and she puts the “pirate aesthetics” above everything else.
Her basic weapons are the rapier and the crossbow and she also fights with deadly brawling arts. As the captain of a flying ghost ship, she can summon it at her will.
The character is designed by Morisawa Haruyuki who was also responsible for the character designs of the game Dream C Club for the Xbox 360.
There’s still no release date for the visual book (although it’s expected to be by the end of this year together with another character’s book), but I’m really looking forward to it!
Cheerio!

She is awesome! Does this mean your back?

Thanks for still coming! Too much work lately and no time for leisure… Hey, at least I’m still alive! But karoushi is still a possibility.

So the hunch I had that she’ll be released along with Queen’s Gate Painkiller Kotone-chan is basically confirmed?
Glad to see you’re still around!

Bitoushi Blog wrote that the other character is an “erotic older-sister type”. Let’s not forget about Ivy that was hinted to appear in the series a long time ago with Kasumi.

Oh, right, Ivy’s silhouette from a year ago! Supposedly, a recent article at June’s Megami Magazine Creators confirmed her as the next Gate char… but there’s no solid info on her anywhere, I don’t think she’s coming this year.

So did you catch the OVA featuring Elina? She’s not my favorite character, so while I thought it was good, it wasn’t exactly enjoyable.

Although I found rips and subs, I guess I’ll wait for the BD I ordered to enjoy it fully. It’s an expensive disc for a single episode, but I’ll have to decide if the bonus contents are worth the price… But as a fan of the series, I have to support it!

Good to see you back Fabio.
Liliana looks to be a great addition to the roster, and glad to see she’s part of the Marshland Witch’s group. Always nice to have more bad girls.
I wish the Rebellion characters came out in pairs like the original characters; Rebellion’s roster needs to grow faster to match the original’s number.
I’d love for a Queen’s Gate of Ivy. It was teased a year ago, but still nothing. Ivy is perfect for Queen’s Gate.

No doubt that it’s great to see new characters brought by different artists. But if we take into account the characters from the original series, we have more than enough for a good anime of Rebellion! It’s hard to see a good plot development when the episodes are split between too many characters… Rebellion has a nice plot with many subplots and I’m really looking forward for its anime version.

Her name is Liliana… and she is a sea farer?
That… is suspiciously like the eroge Princess Waltz.
