I doubt it’d do any good to talk about Hatsune Miku unless you’ve been living under a rock (without Internet access) for the last two years. In that case, I strongly suggest you start by reading about her at Wikipedia. And I can only hope that at least you’ve heard about Wikipedia.
The package is the standard sized box for most Figmas. On the back there’re some poses you can use as reference to start playing with your figure.
For the standard price of 2,500 yen, Hatsune Miku comes with a reasonable number of accessories:
- 1x microphone;
- 1x microphone stand with tripod base;
- 2x green leeks;
- 2x faces;
- 5x right hands;
- 5x left hands;
- 1x platic bag and
- 1x base with articulated support.
Still wondering why she needs a microphone while using a headset. But the leeks (negi) are a must!
Since her debut, Hatsune Miku is loved by the Otaku community and lots of official and doujin merchandising has been released. This Figma is very true to the original design by KEI. Although the design is simple, the sculpture and painting is perfectly done. I bought mine (2nd print) from Play-Asia. There’s a 3rd print coming in May and I recommend you to not lose the opportunity if you still haven’t got your own Miku.
Due her popularity and loads of reviews on this Figma, it’s hard to find what haven’t been said about her… Still, let me enjoy my bragging rights! For more photos of this Hatsune Miku, check the review from foo-bar-baz and from AkibaHobby.
Omake: Hatsune Miku vs. Saber Lily.
A new challenger appears!
Okay, enough fooling around… Miku has proven the strenght of her negi! Way to go, negi musume!
Cya!
